Volunteering

Volunteering

SPARC welcomes applications from all individuals interested in undertaking voluntary work in the mental health field.

The volunteer role at SPARC is varied but fundamentally involves supporting and befriending members, facilitating groups and initiating activities. Volunteers are provided with support and supervision and there are opportunities to attend training sessions and peer support events providing the opportunity to meet likeminded people and share ideas.  Assistance is available for travel and training expenses.

Whatever your background, we would love to hear from you. Make a difference today.

How do I volunteer then?

Please email our Volunteer Coordinator, Amanda McLenaghan; amanda@sparc4me.org.uk and she will send you an application form and arrange an informal visit.

Please be aware that an application is subject to a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check before any voluntary work or training commences.
