On the 26th of August we had our AGM. This gave us a chance to look back over the last year and see what we have achieved as an organisation, a charity and a part of the community.
The Meeting went without a hitch with Lynn Barrett (Manager) and Paul Lake-Jones (Chair) speaking about the trials and triumphs that we have been through over the past year.
Nick Dixon was kind enough to be our guest speaker who came with a message about the strength in our local communities.
If you weren’t lucky enough to be able to attend you are very welcome to come and ask for a copy of the Annual Report. It is filled with information from staff, members, volunteers and students; it looks at all the activities that have been taking place at the centre and beyond and is a great insight into just how caring and hard working everyone involved with SPARC really is. Give it a read, even if you only look at a couple of pages you might be surprised to see how much goes on both in and out of the centre.
